Humphries, Dale

Peacefully on December 30, 2016 at the Hamilton General Hospital, Dale Humphries passed away at the age of 74 years. Beloved husband for 49 years to Susan (nee Hughes). Loving father of Joe (Clare), Dan, and Mark (Sandy). Dear grandpa of Nathan, Brooklyn, and Michael. Dear brother of Janis Carpenter (Vaughan). Survived by several nieces and nephews. Dale was a retired employee of Stelco with over 30 years of service. He will be lovingly remembered for his love of woodworking, golf, and vacationing with Susan in St. Pete’s. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave., on Tuesday, January 3rd from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Prayers will be said on Tuesday at 3:30pm. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Regina Mundi Parish on Wednesday, January 4th at 10am. Burial to take place at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
