| Three of our daughters, and several of their friends, lived in Notre Dame Residence at UofW during Sister Joyce's time. My lasting memory of her is her requesting that the last of our eight daughters (Katie) should stay more often with her sisters on weekends in the residence. Katie was anywhere between 7 and 10 at the time. Sister's point was that when Katie ran the residence's Tuck Shop, it was the only time the little business made money. Sister Joyce was cool! |

| I remember Sister Joyce very well from my years at Notre Dame residence in the mid-1980s. I ran the tuck shop in the lobby some nights and Sister Joyce was always around to help in her gruff yet loving way. My condolences. |
