Laplante, Royal
On September 5th 2010 Royal Laplante peacefully passed away after a long battle with cancer at the age of 77 years. Leaving behind his wife Fleurette, daughters Diane and Ginette, and grandsons Nathen and Aaron. Also missed by his extended family Eileen, Eden, Kirah, and Eligah. Survived by his sisters Therese, Claudette (Maurice) , Aline, brothers Jean (Aline), Claude (Carmen), Richard (Madeleine), Yves and sisters-in-law Della and Pierrette. Predeceased by his brothers Leo and Maurice. He will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Avenue (between Fennell & Mohawk) on Wednesday September 8th 2010 from 6-9 p.m. Vigils prayers will be offered at 8:30 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday September 9th 2010 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 416 Mohawk Road East at 10 am. followed by cremation.
