Brothers

I first met Robert shortly after his migration to Canada through his friendship with my brother John. Rob and I quickly became friends and  more importanty brothers. Rob always called me his little brother. My parents always considered Rob as part of our family.  Over five decades Rob was insrumental in my development as a man and athelete.    We both played basketball together on many teams (most notably Chocolate City)  I have always considered that Robs mentoring  contrbuted to my sucess as as a inter-collegiate basketball player and as a sucessfull  young man in my early years.  Rob always took an interst in all of my five children and always offered them positve advice  through out the years. I know that Rob will be missed by myself and all of my family. The memories of of house parties  basketball, road trps and great conversation with my brother will always stay vivid in my mind. My heart and prayers go out to Kathleen and all of Robert"s children
