I ran track and was considered a also ran until Rabbit told coach to give me a uniform and real track shoes.  This started one of the best journies of my life.  We were sprinters, of course he was better, but we complimented each other along with the others on the relays.  We ran at Franklin field in Prnn relays and represented McKinley very well two years.

I thank God I got a chance to see him when he was here and he gave me an autograohed book he wrote about his conversion to a Canadian citizen.

This is really a blow, I still think about our good times on the team.
